Project Manager/Software Engineer – MES (Manufacturing Management System)
Responsibilities:
– Manage the implementation of MES projects and the company’s product suite
– Provide technical documentation for the development team
– Support the development team in both implementation and development
– Manage the development team as they work on various projects
– Monitor and check the progress of work
– Work with the team to deliver system solutions to customers
– Participate in the preparation of sales proposals
– Help the client, by meeting their needs and providing documentation related to client requests
– Organise and conduct customer design sessions in order to formulate and record customer solutions according to satisfactory standards
– Represent the Subject Matter Expert in the development and deployment phases of the project
– Provide on-site training for the client
– Inform internal teams of product requests identified in the market
– Budget management of orders
– Reporting
Requirements:
– Degree in Management Engineering / Computer Science Degree or equivalent
– Knowledge of industrial production and quality processes – Knowledge of databases, in particular Microsoft SQL Server, and T-SQL CRUD
– Reporting tools, specifically Crystal Reports
The following are not essential, but would be an advantage:
– Excellent presentation skills
– Ability to work independently and successfully reach deadlines
– Ability to multi-task, managing priorities in a dynamic environment
– Optimistic “can-do” attitude
– Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
– Willingness to travel
